System Unit Cover Assembly

The system unit cover assembly consists of the system unit cover, front bezel. quick release cover
latches , power button, and CD-ROM bezel blank (Small Form Factor model only. Net PC models
do not feature a CD-ROM drive).
5.16.1

Front Bezel and Cover Release Buttons

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.4).
2. Remove the system unit cover (Section 5.7), and place it with the bezel face down onto a
protected surface.
3. From the inside of the system unit cover, remove the five screws 1 that attach the front bezel
to the cover.
4. Separate the bezel from the system unit cover. The two quick release cover latches 2 can be
removed at this time.

To install the quick release cover latches, reverse the removal procedure making sure that the
grounding straps 3 are in place.
