Enter Diagnostic mode and navigate to:
FINISHER TESTS > Sensor Test
Select Pass and Media.
Does the status shown on the control panel change each time the sensor
is toggled?

POR the machine.
Does the machine fail to complete the POR sequence or does the same
error persist?
Step 2
Open the stapler service cover and check all connectors on the stapler
controller board.
Are all of them properly connected?
Step 3
Replace the stapler carriage assembly. See

Step 4
Replace the stapler controller board. See

Check the following:
• Manually move the left and right tamper wings and check if they can
move freely.
• Check the tamper belt for damage.
