The modem defaults to operation with US telephone networks (country code: B5). To operate the modem with
other country telephone networks, a country code must be entered. The modem adjusts its operating
parameters to comply with the telephone network in the country specified. See
2-35 for the appropriate syntax and a list of country codes.
