Description
Enable or disable audio recording.
Enable or disable the requirement for use of user names and passwords to log on
to the HRDV16/8.
Caution
If disabled, there will be no prompt for user name and
password when logging on. Your system will not be secure. We
recommend that you always enable this feature.
Break Timelapse recording into individually searchable video clips. Options are:
15 minutes
Hourly. (recommended setting for timelapse recording)
Daily. A single daily timelapse clip for each day starting at 12:00 midnight
Disabled. One continuous single clip
Options are:
Enabled. When a report or search is done that lists more than one video clip and
a video clip is selected to play back, the HRDV automatically plays all clips in
sequence. Allows you to put the HRDV into fast forward turbo mode to advance
rapidly through the selected video clip. At the end of the clip, the HRDV
automatically advances to the next clip. This feature works best when Playback
Lock to Camera is enabled.
Disabled. The HRDV only plays back one clip at a time.
Options are:
Enabled. The HRDV automatically puts itself in record mode after 60 seconds if
recording is inadvertently disabled by an operator (recommended setting).
Disabled.The HRDV will stop recording until manually reset if recording is
inadvertently disabled by an operator.
There are two timelapse modes available: simple setup and advanced setup.
Uses programmable, calendar based timelapse recording scheduling. Timelapse
clips are recorded in the timelapse hard disk partition. Events (motion detection,
text, or switch) generate event files that are written to the hard disk event partition.
You may also specify a business schedule (for example: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m.) to record timelapse and then only record events in the alternate times.

Allows you to program both normal (day) and alternate (night) recording
schedules. In addition to the Simple mode recording features, Advanced mode
also allows you to program individual fps rates for each camera.
