Description
If enabled, the HRDV beeps continuously when the system detects video loss or
a system error.
Note
Ensure all unused camera inputs are disabled on the Video Inputs screen
(MENU

Activates the selected alarm output for video loss, system error, or record
indicator. Options are:
1 to 4, None
The alarm outputs provide a TTL output that is Hi when the indicated condition has
occurred.
Enables and disables (default) video loss action processing (when the system
detects a lost video signal from an enabled camera). Also selects an alarm output
to activate.
Enables (default) and disables system error action processing. Also selects an
alarm output to activate.
Provides TTL output at an alarm output that is HI when the HRDV16 is recording
and goes LO when the HRDV16 is not recording any video. Options are:
None, 1, 2, 3, or 4
Sets image quality for events. The higher the compression rate, the longer you can
record video before your disk is full but the lower the stored image quality. Options
are:
High (10:1 or 15:1)
Medium (20:1 or 25:1) — default
Low (30:1, 35:1, 40:1)
Very Low (45:1, 50:1)
The HRDV unit automatically switches to a live view of the camera monitoring the
area when alarm homing is enabled and a wire runs from a panic button to a
remote monitoring station to provide a ground to an alarm input of the HRDV unit.
Options are:
Enabled, Disabled (default)
