Go to the Text Event Setup screen (MENU

In the Length field, set a time duration beyond the maximum duration of a typical
transaction. Typically this is the time between when the cash register opens to when it
closes (for example, nine minutes). The actual recording of the event will terminate
earlier than the time window specified after all the transaction data is received at text
port 1.
If the end of the transaction data is not received (for example, a cash register drawer
is left open), recording stops after the set length duration has elapsed.

Select Text Trigger Strings to display the Enter Trigger Text - Port 1 screen.

Ensure that Trigger All is enabled.
Note
Do not enter identical text strings into the Text 1 to Text 5 fields as the HRDV
will consider this redundant.
