Be careful to select every clip in the Search list you want to archive. When the
archive is complete, the system closes the CD and it cannot be written to
again.

After making your selections, press Camera 3 to start the archive process. An Archive
Status window displays a progress box showing the percentages of data transferred.
Press OK when complete. Press any control button to cancel the archive operation
before completion.

To verify the contents of the CD, either:
Enable the Check Archive Drive field on the Search screen. The contents of the
CD are listed and you can select clips to review.
Remove the CD and play it back on a PC with a CD-ROM drive. See
Evidence CD
for more detailed information.
Secondary Method 2: While Playing an Individual Clip from a
Clip List
Note
If you are downloading a partial clip without using the Go To search function,
you can only download video within the current clip, even if you specify a time
period that spans several clip.

Perform a search (see

Use VCR-like controls to find the beginning of the incident to be archived. Pause the
video using the outer jog wheel.
3.
Press MENU to start the Easy CD Burn Wizard.
4.
Select Entire Clip or Partial.
Entire clip will archive all video in the current clip and allow you to select the cameras
to be archived.
Partial allows you to archive a selected number of minutes of video within the clip and
cameras to be archived.

Select Clip to archive a video clip.
