TRACK TENSION ADJUSTMENT/

SLIDE RUNNER INSPECTION

a. Start the engine and rotate the track once or
twice. Stop the engine.
b. Check the track alignment with the slide run-
ner 3 .
If the alignment is incorrect, turn the left and
right adjusters to adjust.

c. Adjust the track deflection until the specified
amount is obtained.

CAUTION:
The adjusters should be turned an equal
amount.
S Recheck the alignment and deflection. If nec-
essary, repeat steps (a) to (c) until the speci-
fied amount is obtained.
S Tighten the rear axle nut.

Cracks/damage/wear ! Replace the slide
runner.
2. Measure:
S Slide runner thickness a
Out of specificaiton ! Replace the slide run-
ner.
