INSPECTION

1. Inspect:
D Secondary shaft (jackshaft) 1
Scratches (excessive)/damage ! Replace.
D Splines 2
Wear/damage ! Replace the jackshaft.
D Bearing 3
Scratches/wear/damage ! Replace the
jackshaft.

INSTALLATION

1. Install:
D Secondary sheave 1
Secondary sheave bolt 2 :
60 Nm (6.0 mDkg, 43 ftDlb)
2. Install:
D Secondary shaft (jackshaft) assembly
Bolt (Secondary shaft (jackshaft)
assembly) 1 :
21 Nm (2.1 mDkg, 15 ftDlb)
3. Adjust:
D Sheave distance
D Sheave offset
Refer to "SHEAVE DISTANCE AND OFF-
SET ADJUSTMENT" in CHAPTER 2.
