INSTALLATION

1. Install:
D Reed valves
D Reed valve stoppers
NOTE:
D Place the reed valve 1 with its concave sur-
face facing toward the reed valve seat 2 .
D Fit the reed valve stopper cut a into the corre-
sponding cut b on the reed valve.
2. Tighten:
D Screws (reed valve) 1
NOTE:
Tighten each screw gradually to avoid warping.
3. Install:
D Gasket (read valve)
4. Install:
D Small end bearing 1
D Piston 2
D Piston pin 3
D Piston pin clip 4
D Piston rings
NOTE:
D The arrow a on the piston must point toward
to the front of the engine.
D Before installing the piston pin clip, cover the
crankcase with a clean rag so that you do not
accidentally drop the pin clip and other materi-
al into the crankcase.
D Position each piston very carefully in its origi-
nal place.

1 Nm (0.1 mDkg, 0.7 ftDlb)
