Note
In cool or wet weather conditions, the headlights as well as the taillights and turn
signals may become temporarily fogged inside. This is normal and has no influ-
ence on the life of the lighting system of the vehicle.
Masking the headlights

First read and observe the introductory information and safety warn-
ings
on page 71.
When driving in countries in which the traffic drives on the other side of the road
than in your home country, the asymmetrical low beam may dazzle oncoming driv-
ers. Therefore, when travelling abroad, certain areas of the headlight lenses may
need to be masked with foils or converted by a specialist garage.
More information is available from a specialist garage. Škoda recommends a Škoda
partner for this purpose.
Note
The use of foils on the headlights is permitted only if they are used for a short pe-
riod of time. For a permanent conversion, see a specialist garage. Škoda recom-
mends a Škoda partner for this purpose.
