Replacing the rear license plate light bulb

First read and observe the introductory information and safety warn-
ings on page 203.
Perform the actions in the specified order:
Follow the checklist and carry out the actions ⇒ p age 204.

2. Push the flat blade of the screwdriver from the tool kit into the recess on
the rear license plate lamp in the direction of the arrow
3. Pull out the rear license plate lamp slightly.
4. Replace the failed bulb with a new bulb of the same type.

Carefully place the rear license plate lamp in the opening in the tailgate.
Make sure that you install the rear license plate lamp in the right direc-
tion.
Press the rear license plate lamp into the tailgate until it audibly slots in-
to place.
