FRONT FORK
NOTE:
S Install the fork spring with its smaller pitch up-
word.
S Before installing the cap bolt, apply grease to
the O-ring.
S Temporarily tighten the cap bolt.

INSTALLING THE FRONT FORK LEGS
The fllowing procedure applies to both of the
front fork legs.
1. Install:
S front fork leg
Temporarily tighten the upper and lower
bracket pinch bolts.
NOTE:
Make sure that the inner fork tube is flush with
the top of the upper bracket.
2. Tighten:
S lower bracket pinch bolt 1
S front turn signal light bolt 2
S cap bolt 3
S upper bracket pinch bolt 4
WARNING
Make sure that the brake hoses are routed
properly.
