Click OK to delete the array. Click Cancel to cancel this operation.
4. Once the deletion is completed, you will get a confirmation
screen notifying you that the RAID you specified has been
deleted successfully. Click Yes to reboot the system when
prompted for the changes to take effect. Click No to reboot
the system later.
You can also delete an array in the System View window. See the
System View section.
Managing a Spare Pool
With a spare disk, you can enhance security of RAID 1 and RAID 0/1
array. If one of the disks in the array fails, the system will rebuild the
array using a spare disk automatically. HighPoint ATA RAID
Management Software provides you the function of managing a
spare pool. You can add one disk to the spare pool or remove it from
the pool one time.
To add/remove a disk to/from the spare pool, follow these steps:
1. Click Configuration- > Spare Pool Management in the
main window, the Spare Pool Management window appears.
