The Intel
Server Board SE7500WV2 includes the following managed headers on board:
•
Processor fans: The processor fan headers provide power to the processor cooling fans and monitor their rotating
speed. These headers do not provide variable speed control for these fans.
•
Fan pack: The fan pack headers provide power to the chassis fan pack, monitor the rotating speed of the fans and
provide variable speed control for the fans to meet chassis cooling needs.
The following headers provide accessory support for the server management subsystem:
•
ICMB header: A single header for the intelligent chassis management bus (ICMB) is provided for connecting an
optional ICMB I/O card to the server board for communication with ICMB capable devices.
•
IPMB headers: A single intelligent platform management bus (IPMB) header is located on the board to manage
IPMB capable add-in cards.
