The Intel Server Management 5.x release includes a new e-mail alert function. Using this feature, users can specify a
message to be sent to any e-mail address (using the SMTP protocol) or a group of e-mail addresses; specific e-mail
addresses can be set for each individual notification. The alert includes the following information:
•
System identification (name and IP address)
•
The sensor or device that generated the event
•
The Event type
