The command line interface (CLI) supports scripting and is an integral part of the Intel
architecture. The CLI interfaces to the SOL services to provide platform control. The user accesses the CLI from an OS
command line shell, such as Windows* cmd or a UNIX* shell such as csh or ksh, or from a Telnet-style program that
can connect to a socket type of SOCK_STREAM.
