Effects keys

The Effects of the SE-900 are PIP (Picture in Picture), Mosaic, Paint, Strobe,
B/W (Monochrome). Additional options within the effects panel are CK (Chroma Keying),
CK Sync (Virtual Studio Chroma Keying), CG (Character Generator), LOGO (Internal Luma
Keying), BDR (Border, for some Effects and Transitions such as PIP and Wipes), BDR
CLR (Border Colour) and BG COLOR (Background Colour).
Picture In Picture can be
set up in one of four
preset positions, or
manually moved to any
position on the screen.

Chroma Key can be set
on up to four channels.
Each channel has
individual settings.

Strobe effect can be
applied in one of six
different preset levels.
See Strobe in the
Effects section for more
details.
Border adds a border to
certain effects, such as
PIP or Wipes.
You can select between
three border widths, N
(Narrow), M (Medium)
and W (Wide), simply by
repeatedly pressing the
BDR Key.
The active width and
colour is indicated in the
Status Display
Mosaic can be set to
various sizes and levels.
It can be moved around
the screen using the
Joystick Position Control.

Chroma Key Sync
creates virtual studio
switching, you can switch
between four foreground
and background pairs.

Black or White removes
the colour from the video,
to leave a monochrome
output.
Border Colour sets the
colour of the border to be
used with effects such as
PIP or Wipes.
You can select from 8
colours.
The active colour is
indicated in the Status
Display

Paint effect can be applied in
one of six different preset levels.

CG activates the Down Stream
Keying function. Either external
or internal keying can be set up.

Logo activates the internal luma
keyer which is able to display up
to two basic LOGOS.

Background Colour sets the
background colour for use on
the Main and Sub Source Rails.
You can select from 8 solid
colours, Colour Bars or Framing
Lines.
The active BG Colour is
indicated in the Status Display
