Using the OmniBook Touch Pad

Using the OmniBook Touch Pad
The touch pad is a touch-sensitive pointing device located in front of the keyboard.
The two click buttons are located in front of the touch pad.
The touch pad controls the motion and speed of the pointer on the screen. The
click buttons work like those on a standard mouse—what the buttons do depends
on the software being used.

Drag objects.

To control the pointer

The touch pad controls the motion of the pointer on the screen by detecting the
motion of your finger.
1. To move the cursor, move your finger or thumb across the touch pad in the
direction you want the pointer to move.
2. To select an item, click the left button.

Tap on the surface of the touch pad. To double-click, tap twice.

To drag objects

1. First move the pointer over the item.
2. Tap twice and leave your finger pressed on the touch pad.
3. Drag your finger on the touch pad to move to the new location.
4. Pick up your finger to drop the object.
