To use the Setup utility to set time-outs:
1. Reboot the OmniBook, then press F2 to enter the Setup utility. Active keys are
described along the bottom of the screen. (The touch pad or mouse does not
work in Setup.)
2. In the Power Saving menu, select Power Management and choose an option
other than disabled. You have the following choices:
Maximum Power Savings: The time-out settings are defined for best power
savings (relatively short time-outs).
Maximum Performance: The time-out settings are set for fast performance with
some power conservation (relatively long time-outs).
Customized: You determine each setting for Standby Time-out,
Suspend Time-out, Hard Disk Time-out, and Video Time-out.
3. Choose your Time-out settings. Press F10, then press ENTER to save your
settings.
