Setting pauses

Note
If you want to insert a pause into a
telephone number you are storing in
your directory, start storing the
number (see page 19) and where
a pause is needed press the MENU
button until
Insert pause is
displayed. Press OK and the pause
is added and stored with the number.
To set a pause before dialling
You can insert a pause to allow
your switchboard time to get a
line before your Diverse 4016
Micro dials the number.
Press the Menu options button.
Menu
Press the 8 button.
Press the 9 button.
Press the 1 button.
Press the 6 button.
Enter the pause length:
1 = 1 second
2 = 3 seconds
3 = 7 seconds
4 = 3.2 seconds
Press the OK options button to
OK
confirm the setting.
Press the RED PHONE button
until you reach the idle display.
Important
When storing numbers in the
Directory, you still need to enter the
switchboard access code first.
The code you store here is always
dialled automatically before telephone
numbers in the caller list and the
emergency numbers.
To store the switchboard
access code
If your switchboard requires a
prefix, e.g. 9, before a number
is dialled, your Diverse 4016
Micro can store it so it is
dialled automatically for
external numbers.
Press the Menu options button.

Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Base Settings .
Press the OK options button.
OK
Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Add. Features .
Press the OK options button.
OK
Press the DOWN navigation
button until the display shows
Access code .
Press the OK options button.
OK
Enter the access code, e.g. 9.
