V Part/Unit that should be removed before removing Holder Shaft Unit.
Document Cover / Panel Unit / Panel Housing / Scanner Unit / Housing Upper /
Main Board Unit / Housing Middle / ASF Unit
V Removal procedure
1. Pinch the dowel of EJ Roller's gear, turn it clockwise and release Carriage
Lock.
2. Slide Carriage Unit to the left side of the printer.
3. Release CR Motor Connector Cable from the hooks (x2,
and the hooks (x5, ) of Holder Shaft Unit.
The CR Motor Connector Cable is secured to the hook
C A U T I O N
by double-sided tape, so use care not to damage it when removing it.
4. Peel off the acetate tapes (x2) for securing CR Motor Connector Cable and
HP/PE Sensor Connector Cable.
To protect the cable, reattach acetate tape at the original position.
5. Release Head FFC from the hook (x1,
