DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
Double-sided tape
Disassembly
8. Disconnect Head FFC from the connector of CSIC Board.
9. Peel off Head FFC secured to the hook (x1,
Main Frame by the double-sided tape.

If Carriage Unit is disassembled or replaced with a new one,
make sure that Timing Belt is set in the assembling groove
correctly as following figure.

Apply THREE BOND 1401 (Part Code:1091654) to the Timing
Belt insertion part after inserting Timing Belt.
After replacing Holder IC with a new one, always apply oil G-58 to

the specified portions.

When having replaced Print Head, implement the adjustment in

R E Q U I R E D
the following order. (Refer to Chapter 5 "ADJUSTMENT")
1. Initial ink charge
2. Head ID input
3. Bi-D adjustment

When having removed and reinstalled Print Head, implement
only the following adjustment.
1. Head cleaning
2. Bi-D adjustment
