3. Lift the trail shield to easily access the clevis pin and
bow-tie clip
4. Remove the clevis pin and bow tie clip that secures
the tine assemblies to the tine shaft on the transmis-
sion. See Figure 6.3.
5. Slide the assemblies off of the tine shaft.
NOTE: If the hub assemblies are frozen on to the
tine shaft, a hub puller can be used to
remove them.
NOTE: After the tine assemblies have been
removed, apply a film of grease onto the tine
shaft.
6. Remove the old tines from the tine holder with a 3/4"
and 9/16" wrench. See Figure 6.4.
7. Inspect the tines and hardware, replace if excessive
wear is obvious.
