Counter Rotation Tilling

NOTE: Counter rotation tilling means the tines turn
the opposite direction of the wheels
1.
If the operator moves the control lever one notch back
from the wheels forward position, the shift fork will
raise the input spur gear to the next detent.
2.
In this position, the upper set of teeth on the input
spur gear will engage the paired wheel and tine drive
gears on the main shaft, turning them in the opposite
direction of the input spur gear. The paired gears will
turn Counter Clock Wise. See Figure 5.7.
3.
The upper paired gear on the main shaft turns a
sprocket to drive the tines Counter Clock Wise via
chain. See Figure 5.8.
4.
The lower paired gear on the main shaft turns the
wheel drive transfer gear Counter Clock Wise.
5.
The wheel drive transfer gear drives the wheel drive
reduction gear Clock Wise.
6.
The sprocket attached to the wheel drive reduction
gear drives the wheel axle Clock Wise.
