11. Remove the input shaft, as described in the Input
Shaft section of this chapter. See Figure 5.70.
12. Remove the snap ring from the shift arm.
13. Push the shift arm into the interior of the chain case
for final removal. See Figure 5.71.
NOTE: Inset shows snap ring location.
14. Reinstall the shift arm and drive components by
reversing the procedures used to remove them.
