Symptom
No drive to tines or
wheels in any mode
Wheels drive, but tines
do not turn Forward Till
mode
Wheels drive, but tines
do not turn Reverse Till

Troubleshooting Chart
Cause
1. No drive to input shaft
2. Shift fork stuck in Neu-
tral
3. Input spur gear or
input shaft damaged
1. Damaged gear drive to
tines
2. Gears reversed on
counter shaft
3. Shift fork stuck in
wheel drive mode
1. Damaged gear drive to
tines
2. Shift fork stuck in
wheel drive mode
1. Damaged chain or
sprocket drive to tines
2. Shift fork stuck in
wheel drive mode
Damage to gear drive to
wheels

Cure
1. Check belt, belt tensioning,
and pulleys. External repair.
2. Repair shift fork/shift arm.
Could be internal or external
(pointer).
3. Repair input spur gear or
input shaft.
1. Repair damage to input spur
gear, top gear on counter
shaft, and/or top gear on
main shaft.
2. Flip the counter shaft and the
gears that are on it. The thick
gear goes on top.
3. Repair shift fork/shift arm.
Could be internal or external
(pointer).
1. Repair damaged input spur
gear and/or paired tine gear
on main shaft.
2. Repair shift fork/shift arm.
Could be internal or external
(pointer).
1. Repair broken chain, tine
shaft sprocket, and/or main
shaft sprocket.
2. Repair shift fork/shift arm.
Could be internal or external
(pointer).
Repair input spur gear and/or
paired wheel drive gear on main
shaft.
Look for damage on small set of
teeth on spur gear, and/or lower of
two paired gears on main shaft.
