Important Safety Instructions

• Do not look into the lens when the projector is on. The bright light can
damage your eyes.
• Do not carry the projector by yourself. Two people should use the
handles to carry the projector when unpacking or moving it.
• Do not place the projector on an unstable cart, stand, or table. When
projecting images vertically, install the projector correctly and
appropriately to prevent it from turning over and falling.
• Do not operate the projector on its side, while tilted to one side, or
upside down. Do not tilt the projector forward or back at a greater
angle than that specified for vertical keystone correction. s
• If the projector is mounted on a ceiling, it should be installed by
qualified technicians using mounting hardware designed for use with
this projector. Also, when mounting the projector on the ceiling, make
sure to pass a wire through the handles to prevent it from falling.
• If you use a ceiling mount and apply adhesives to the mount to prevent
the screws from loosening, or if you use lubricants or oils on the
projector, the projector case may crack and the projector may fall from
its ceiling mount. This could cause serious injury to anyone under the
mount and could damage the projector. When installing or adjusting a
ceiling mount, do not use adhesives to prevent the screws from
loosening and do not use oils or lubricants.
• Do not stand on the projector or place heavy objects on it.
• Do not use the projector where it may be exposed to rain, water, or
excessive humidity.
• Unplug the projector from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a dry
cloth (or, for stubborn dirt or stains, a moist cloth that has been wrung
dry) for cleaning. Do not use liquid, aerosol cleaners, or solvents such
as alcohol, thinner or benzine.
• Do not use any spray containing a flammable gas to remove dirt or dust
that is adhering to parts such as the lens or filter of the projector.
• Never spill liquid of any kind into the projector.
• Do not use the projector where it may be exposed to excessive dust or
smoke.
