14.1 Error Handling

When an error occurs, the Error LED goes solid or fl ashing red and the
beeper emits two beeps. Provided the printer is fi tted with a display, two
error message are displayed alternatingly, for example:
When all errors have been cleared, the Error LED goes off, the beeper
emits a single beep, and the printer returns to the same mode as when the
error occurred, which is indicated in the display window.
The printer's error-handler can manage the following errors:
Description/Display Message
01: Syntax error
02: Object exceeds image buffer border
03: Data length error
04: Insuffi cient memory to store data
05: Memory confi guration error
07: Out of media
08: Form or image name duplicate
09: Form or image not found
11: Print head lifted
13: Label taken sensor waiting
15: Rewinder is full
16: No form was retrieved before '?'
17: Out of ribbon
50: Does not fi t in area specifi ed
51: Data length too long
62: High print head temperature (WAIT)
71: Default Setup retrieved (RESET)
72: Flashing not completed (RESET)
73: Download error (RESET)
81: Cutter jammed or not installed
