Walking B elt AJignment
Thewalkingbelts need to be adjustediftheyareout of center enough to causea rubbingor scrapingsound.
Adjustments canbe madeat the FrontRollerof eachTreadle.
Adjusting the WalkingBelts- Whileoperating the machine, n oticewhere the belts runon eachTreadle. TheWalking
BeltAdjustment B oltsareon thefront endof eachRoller. I f the beltis trackingtoofar to the right, usea properly sized
Hex Keyto turnthe right adjustmentboltclockwise onthat beltin full turn increments. If the belttrackstoo far tothe
left, dothe samethingon the left adjustment b olt.
Note:Donotturntheboltscounterclockwise when youadjustthebeltalignment.

BeltTensionCheck - Check the belttensiononlywhenthe machine is unplugged. F rom the belt'smidpoint,a
correctly tensioned beltshouldonlyhavean inchof give.Tocheck,pull the beltupwardat its midpointand measure
thedistanceto the deck.If the distanceis more than an inch,the belt is loose. T otighten,turn bothWalking Belt
Adjustment B oltsclockwise one-halfa turn andchecktensionagain.Repeat t his stepif necessary.
Note:Boltsareturnedcounterclockwise equally to decrease b elttension.
