Hydraulic WorkoutCylinder
Your TreadCiimber ® machine usesHydraulic Cylinders to absorbyourstepsandcushion yourjoints,decreasing your
overall f atigue and reducing musclestrain.Thedisplacement of theTreadles is adjustedbythe dialsonthe Hydraulic
Cylinders. TheMINsettingisthe minimumamountof Treadle movement, theMAXisthe maximum movement. The
closer the dial is setto the MAX setting,the more the Treadle will travel.Thisresultsin a moreintenseworkout.
Beginwith eachcylindersetto thecentral,white dotonthe dial. if this settingallowstoo muchTreadle travel,adjust
thedial towardthe MIN(clockwise) s ettinguntilyouarecomfortable with the amount o f travel,if youfind that the
Treadles d o notmove enough to fully cushion yoursteps,adjustthe dial settingtowardthe MAX(counter-clockwise)
setting,allowingmoreTreadle movement. TheTreadles s houldbeset sotheydisplace enough to absorbthe impactof
yoursteppingmotion,approximately 3 inches. A lthoughthesettingsdial can move continuously i n eitherdirection,it
is recommended notto turn the dialsthroughthe redrange.

Donotchange the intensitysettingsofthe Cylinders duringa workout. S topthe workout a nd stepoff the machine
before youadjustthe resistance level.
Note:"Bottoming out" occurs whentheTreadle travelsthrough toogreata range of motion. W hen this occurs, t he
Treadles h it against t he base onthe down step.Toreduce Treadle t ravel,turnthe settingdialtowardMINor
increase thebeltspeed.
