Re place ment ke ys
The key is a c onstituent of the electronic
immobiliser. Fault-free op eration of the
electronic im mobiliser can only be
guaranteed if spare k eys are ordered from
a Vaux hall Authorised Repairer. This will
avoid unnecessary costs and difficulties
when claiming from insuranc e comp anies
and problem s w hen asserting warranty
claims.

Lock cylinders
Designed to free-wheel if they are
forcefully rotated without the correct k ey or
if the correct key is not fully inserted.
To reset, turn cy linder with the c orrect key
until its slot is vertica l, remove key and then
re-insert it. If the cylinder still free wheels,
turn the key through 180° and rep eat
op eration.
Child safety locks
Use the child safety lock whenever
child ren are occupying the rear seats.
Disregard may lea d to injuries or
endanger life. Vehicle p assengers should
be informed accordingly.
Using k ey, turn lever on rear door lock from
the vertical position: Door cannot then be
opened from inside.
