Basic setting for max imum comfort:
z Press AUTO button.
z All front air vents op en. If d esired, the
rear vents a lso 3 .
z Set the pre-selected tempera ture for the
driv er and passenger sides to 22 °C using
the turn knob s.

If necessary, the pre-selected temperature
can be set higher or lower.
Different pre-selected tempera tures can be
set for the driver and pa ssenger sides.
Operation without cooling (Eco appears in
the display) m ay imp air the level of
comfort – see page 172.
Autom atic air recircul ation mod e
Air recirculation is automatically activated
as soon as the system d etec ts harmful
gases in the outside air. The circuit is
controlled by an air q uality sensor.
At low outsid e temperatures and with the
cooling (cooling compressor) switched off,
automatic recirculation operation will be
disabled. This prevents the windows from
misting up. S witch manually to air
recirc ulation as nec essary .
