Manual s ettings
Under certain circumstances (e. g. iced-up
or m isted-up windows), the functions of the
electronic air conditioning system can be
influenced manua lly .
Electronic air conditioning settings can be
changed using the central rotary k nob, the
buttons and using menus show n in the
display. Calling up the menus:
Press the centre knob, and the m enu for
manual ad justments to the electronic air
conditioning system will appear on the
display.
Individual menu items are selected by
turning the central knob and deselected by
pressing it. For some menu items a sub-
menu will a ppear as soon as the respective
menu has been deselected by pressing.
Each menu can be exited by selecting Back
and pressing the central rotary knob.
Manua l settings are stored when the
ignition is switc hed off.
Window demisting a nd de-icing
Disregard of the settings described ca n
cause the wind ows to b ecome m isted up
which can lead to accidents due to lack
of prop er vision.
Press button V, Def appears in display ,
control ind icator in button illuminates.
The temperature and the air distribution
are a djusted automatically , the fa n runs at
a faster speed and the windows are rapidly
cleared of ic e and moisture.
The a irflow can be increased or decreased
by turning the central k nob.
To return to automatic m ode: press
button V or AUTO .
