If "PDF" was selected, the encryption settings can be specified. If

necessary, touch [Encrypt].

Specify the encryption settings.

Encryption Level1: Select the encryption level.

Password: Enter the password that is required for opening data that

is encrypted (up to 32 alphanumeric characters). To confirm the

password, enter the password again.

Permissions: Enter the password that is required for changing the

permissions for a document (up to 32 alphanumeric characters). To

confirm the password, enter the password again.

Touch [OK], and then touch [OK] in the next screen that appears.
