Special paper setting may be one of the following three types, each having a
specific meaning as described below. The setting can be made by using the User's
Choice.
pp. 132, 137
S1: If S1 is set, that particular Drawer is excluded as a possible candidate
S1:
in Auto Paper Mode. If, for example, you are using both recycled and plain
S1:
paper and using mainly the recycled paper, you may set the plain paper for
S1:
S1. Then, the copier excludes the plain paper when selecting paper size in
S1:
the Auto Paper Mode.
S2: This setting precludes both Auto Paper Mode and Automatic Drawer
S1:
Switching.
S3: This setting blocks 2-sided copying.
S1:
Again it is sensible of you to set the used 1-sided copy paper for the S3
S1:
setting.
NOTES
The Drawer set for S3 cannot be selected when you have set up a job for
making 2-sided copies from 1-sided originals or making 2-sided copies from
2-sided originals.
When you have selected the paper set for S3, you can no longer select the
copying mode for making 2-sided copies from 1-sided originals or making
2-sided copies from 2-sided originals.
