8. Finishing Mode
Instructions for Loading Originals for Finishing Mod
Note the correct direction of the originals if the copies are to be stapled either in the
Sort-and-Staple or Manual Staple mode.
Using the Automatic/Duplexing Document Feeder
Load the originals crosswise in the Document Feeder. Ensure also that the stapling position is at th e
rear left corner as indicated by the arrow.
Correct:
Stapling Position
Placing the original on the Original Glass
Place the original, with its stapling position at the upper right corner as shown in the illustratio n.
Correct:
Press the Manual Staple Key to staple copy sets or a copy stack.
