Chassis Slot Numbering

The term "slot" refers to the position at which a module is
installed in the chassis. On the front side of the chassis, CMM
slot positions are designated as Slot A and Slot B. NI slot
numbers range from 1 to 16.
On the back side of the chassis SFM slots are numbered 1
through 5, from top to bottom. Power supply bays are also
given specific slot numbers. Slot numbers are designated PS-1
through PS-4, from left to right.
