Before installing the switch verify that you have all the items listed under “Package Contents.” If any of the items are missing or damaged, contact your local Alcatel distributor. Also be sure you have all the necessary tools and cabling before installing the switch. -

® 8008 Omnistack Applications This switch segments your network, significantly increasing both bandwidth and throughput. Each port on the switch can be attached to any IEEE 802.3z-compliant Gigabit Ethernet device, such as another switch, full-duplex repeater, or a server’s network adapter. All switch ports can operate at 1 Gbps full duplex, providing 2 Gbps of bandwidth to the attached device. -
