Setting Dr. Watson

Dr. Watson of Windows 2003 is a debugger for application errors. When detecting an application error,
Dr. Watson diagnoses the NEC Express5800/ft series, and records the diagnostic information (log).
Take the following steps to collect diagnostic information:
Click [Start] → [Run...].

Enter "drwtsn32.exe" in the [Open] box, and
click [OK].
The [Dr. Watson for Windows] dialog box
appears.

Specify where you want to save diagnostic
information in the [Log File Path] box.
Diagnostic information is saved under the
file name "DRWTSN32.LOG."
TIPS:
Do not specify a network path. Be
sure to specify a path on the local computer.

Specify the crash dump file save destination
in the [Crash Dump] box.
TIPS:
A "crash dump file" is a binary file
that can be read by Windows Debugger.

Select the following check boxes in the
[Options] box.
[Dump Symbol Table]
[Dump All Thread Contexts]
[Append To Existing Log File]
[Create Crash Dump File]

Click [OK].
