IMPORTANT: If the message, "Windows - FT Orphaning A disk that is part of a
fault-tolerant volume can no longer be accessed" is displayed during the update
process, an OS stop error may occur when restarting the OS. If an OS stop error occurs,
perform the following procedures. In this case, the system will be successfully updated,
however,
disk mirroring is disabled. Make sure to check disk mirroring in step 7.
1) Power off the system by pressing and holding the POWER switch.
2) Make sure that the two BMC status LEDs of the PCI modules (for Group1/ Group2) are
turned off.
While the BMC status LED is red blinking, do not perform step c) and the followings.
Otherwise the BMC firmware may become damaged.
3) Identify the PCI module where POWER switch is lit green.
Remember which PCI module's POWER switch (for Group1 or Group2) is lit green.
Unplug the power cord connected to the following AC inlet.
