Explanation
Memory card is not inserted.
• Memory card is not formatted.
• The memory card contact area is soiled.
• Camera fault.
• The memory card format is incorrect.
• Memory card access error.
Memory card is full.
• The data could not be recorded due to an memory
card error or a connection error between the
memory card and camera.
• The image cannot be recorded as it is too large to
fit in the available space on the memory card.
• The memory card is not formatted.
The frame number has reached 999-9999.
• The played back file was not recorded correctly.
• Camera fault.
• An attempt was made to play back the image that
was not recorded on this camera.
Remedy
Insert a memory card.
• Format memory card on the camera (➝p.179).
• Wipe the contact area on the memory card with a
soft, dry cloth. It may be necessary to format the
memory card (➝p.179). If the message still
appears, replace the memory card.
• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• It may be necessary to format the memory card
(➝p.179). If the message still appears, replace the
memory card.
• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
Erase some images in the memory card (➝p.53), or
use a memory card that has ample free space.
• Re-insert the memory card or turn the camera off
and then on again. If the message still appears,
contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• Use a new memory card.
• Format the memory card on the camera (➝p.179).

B Set [RENEW] for [FRAME NO.] under
