This guide contains detailed information on using the HP B6000 Management Console from the
web interface and includes some Command Line Interface commands. It also contains GUI
troubleshooting information.
If a task is only available in the web B6000 Management Console, it is described only in this
guide.
If a task is available in the GUI and CLI, both ways of carrying out the task are described in
this guide. (The CLI command is also described in more detail in the HP B6000 Backup System
CLI Reference Guide.)
If a task is only available in the CLI, it is described only in the HP B6000 Backup System CLI
Reference Guide. It is not described in this guide.
For a summary of what can be done on the GUI and on the CLI, see Appendix A, which contains
a task roadmap.
