EVF Indications
There are three levels of backlight
compensation. Press the BACKLIGHT
button
-I_ Normal (no display)
to obtain the desired level while recording.
When lighting conditions are normal, press the

First press
(low)
BACKLIGHT
button until the indicator
disappears in the EVF.

Second press
(medium)
bird press
(high)
Make smooth scene transitions for a more professional
look.
MODE SEL
Fade In:
Starting the first scene with "fade in" can be
very effective.
Press the MODE SEL button repeatedly
to select BLACK or WHITE fade.
During the RECORD/PAUSE
mode,
press the FADE button to make "FADE"
_ flash in the EVF.

_.,1_ Press the RECORD/PAUSE
button,
The screen will turn black and the
recording will start as picture and sound
gradually fade in.
Fade Out:
Use to create a soft ending or, when used
WHITE

together with fade in, a soft transition from
one scene to the next.
Press the MODE SEL button repeatedly
WHITE
_ to select BLACK or WHITE fade.
Press the FADE button to make "FADE"
F_E
€_frash
in the EVF while recording.
tJw Press the RECORDtPAUSE
button.
The picture and sound will gradually fade
out and the recording will PAUSE.
If FADE is accidentally
pressed, simply press it
again so that "FADE" disappears
in the EVF.
