The Pafmcorder will automatically focus on the subject even during zooming,

Use Manual Focus (MF)when recording:
• a subjectthroughglass
• a subject that is far fromthe Palmcorderwith
objectsin the foreground.
- a subjectwith distincthorizontalstripes
• a subject notcentered in the Viewfinder
If necessary, press MANUAL FOCUS so
that "MF" does not appear in the EVF.
• a subject with a shiny surface,
• an obliquely angled subject.
- a bright, flat subject such as a white wall.
• in low light situations.
* a scene with fast motions, tike a golf swing.

"MF" (Manual Focus) appears in the

Press and hold the "T" side of the
POWER ZOOM switch until the lens
is zoomed in all the way (subject at
maximum size).
Turn the MANUAL FOCUS control
until the picture is in focus.
, It may be necessaryto back away lrom
the subjectto focus the image properly.

Z_Press the "W" side of the POWER
ZOOM switch to frame the picture
as desired.
, Re-focusing may be required
when your Palmcorderis aimed at a new
scala.
Auto Focus will function as close as 1/2 inch (12,7mm) from the subject.
Press the "W" side of the POWER ZOOM switch to the wide angle position.
Then, bring the Palmcorder as close to the subject as desired.
