Scan to Folder / FTP
Error messages
If transmission is not successful because the machine is unable to connect to
the specified network folder or FTP server, one of the following error
messages may appear. For additional error messages that may appear, see
page 47.
[SERVER ERROR] / [CHECK ACCOUNT INFO.]
This appears when a Scan to Folder transmission is not successful because
the user name or password stored in the destination information is not correct.
Check the stored user name and password (see page 50).
[SERVER NOT FOUND] / [NETWORK FOLDER]
This appears when a Scan to Folder transmission is not successful. Check
the computer name and folder path stored in the destination information (see
page 50).
[CONFIGURATION ERROR] / [CHECK FOLDER PATH]
This appears when a Scan to Folder transmission is not successful. Check
the folder path stored in the destination information (see page 50).
[SERVER ERROR] / [CHECK CONFIGURATION]
For an unsuccessful Scan to Folder transmission, check the user name,
password, and folder path stored in the destination information (see page 50).
Make sure that 1) the folder is set to be shared on the network, and 2)
network users are allowed to change the files. For an unsuccessful Scan to
FTP transmission, make sure the correct directory is stored in the destination
information (see page 51).
[SERVER NOT FOUND] / [FTP]
This appears when a Scan to FTP transmission is not successful. Check the
host name or IP address stored in the destination information (see page 51).
[SERVER ERROR] / [FTP LOGIN]
This appears when a Scan to FTP transmission is not successful because the
user name or password stored in the destination information is not correct.
Check the stored user name and password (see page 51).
