Using the self-cleaning upper oven.
The oven door must be closed and all controls set correctly for the cycle to work properly.
How to Delay the Start of Cleaning
SELF Hake sure the clock shows the correct time r_q

[] Touch the Self Clean pad,
[] Using the number pads, enter the
desired clean time,
[] Touch the Delay Start pad. The earliest
start time gou can set will appear in the
displag.
[] Using the number pads, enter the
time of dag you want the clean cycle
to start,
[] Touch the Start pad.
On models without a door latch, the door
locks automaticallg. The displag will show the
start time. It will not be possible to open the
oven door until the temperature drops below
the lock temperature and the LOCKEDDOOR
light goes off.
The oven shuts off automaticallg when the
clean cgcle is complete.
When the LOCKEDDOOR light is off,
slidethe latch handle to the left as far
as it will go and open the dooE If gour
range does not have a latch, the door
will unlock automaticallg.
::Ji:: The words LOCKDOORwill flash and the
oven control will signal if gou set the clean
cycle and forget to close the oven door or
forget to latch the door on models with
a latch.
?_: T o stop a clean cgcle,touch the Clear/Off
pad.When the LOCKEDDOOR light goes
off, indicating the oven has cooled below
the locking temperature, unlatch the door
(on models with a latch) and open the dooE
After a Clean Cgcle
You mag notice some white ash in the oven.
Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the
oven COOLS.
If white spots remain, remove them with o
soap-filled scouring pad and rinse thoroughlg
with o vinegar and water mixture.
These deposits are usuallg a salt residue
that cannot be removed bg the clean cgcle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean cgcle,
repeat the cgcle.
iJi:: Y ou cannot set the oven for cooking until
the oven is cool enough for the door to
unlock.
?_: W hile the oven is self-cleaning, gou can
touch the Clock pad to displag the time
of dog. To return to the clean countdown,
touch the Cooking Time pad.
?_: I f the shelvesbecome hard to slide,applg a
small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil
to a paper towel and wipe the edges of the
oven shelveswith the paper towel.
