Connect
your VCR
as a player
to
your camcorder.
When all i.LINK
cable
is connected,
the
format
of the input signal
(HDVIN
or DVIN _)
will be
indicated
on the LCD screen
of your
camcorder
(This indicator
may appear
on the screen
of the playback
device
but
it will not be recorded).

Start playing the cassette on your
VCR.
The picture played on the VCR appears
on the LCD screen of your camcorder.

Press II (PAUSE) again at the
point you want to start recording.
8 Press • (STOP) to stop
recording.

Insert a cassette into the VCR.
Set your
camcorder
to recording
pause.
While
pressing
I| (PAUSE),
press both
• REC
(record)
buttons
simultaneously.

• You cannot record TV programs

HDV/DV inlerface (i.LINK).
• You can recoM pictures h'om DV devices only
in the DV lormal.
• Nole the Following when c(mnecting with an
i.LINK cable:
The recorded picture becomes

when a
picture is paused on yore" camcorder while
recording to a VCR.
You cannot record the piclure and sound
separalely.
If you pause or stop Ihe recording and reslarl
it, the piclure may nol be recorded smoothly.
