and 6 butt(ms (p. 46). Cancel the shot transilinn
assignment 1l>return Ii>the pre-setling
assignment.
• To cancel the shot transition, select [SHOT
TRANSITION]
---* [YES] in step 3.
If you record
a scene with an index
signal,
you can easily
find that scene during
play
back
(p. 55).
The index function
will make
it easier
to
check
the transition
of recording
or edit
your pictures
using
index signals.

the ASSIGN buttons (p. 44).

During
recording

for about
7 seconds
and an
index
signal
is recorded.

standby

flashes.
After you press the REC
START/STOP
button
to start recording,

and an index
signal
is recorded.
You can view about
2 seconds
of the scene
recorded
just
before
you stopped
the tape.
This
is convenient
during
playback
of the
latest scene
check.
