Check and Clear the Paper Cassettes

Check each paper cassette—first check the 250-sheet
cassette, and then the first and second 500-sheet
cassettes if they are installed.
1. Remove the paper cassette (A).
Caution!
Avoid forcing the paper cassette out,
because this might tear the jammed paper.
2. Ensure the paper is loaded correctly under the
retaining clip and tabs (B).
3. Carefully pull out any jammed paper from the
cassette compartment (C).
4. Reinstall the paper cassette into the printer.
5. Repeat Steps 1 to 4 for each additional cassette.
